About Dr. Baker
Dr. Tom Baker is a Periodontist who has lived and practiced in San Francisco for over 30 years. He graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Dental School in 1973. Dr. Baker served 4 years as a dentist in the United States Navy. While in the Navy he had a one year general practice residency and a one year periodontal fellowship. His periodontal residency was at the Wadsworth Veterans Administration Hospital in Los Angeles ’77-79.
Dr. Baker is recognized for exceptional patient care and communication. He offers over 30 years of experience helping patients save teeth by diagnosing and treating periodontal disease in the most minimally invasive way appropriate with the use of instruments such as the perioscope and microscope. These state of the art instruments allow Dr. Baker to treat patients in a less invasive, more precise manner while allowing for less to no post-operative discomfort.
